Coffman Engineers' Anchorage office is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Drafter with one to five years of experience. The successful candidate will work within the mechanical engineering department to create as-builts and design packages.

The candidate will also develop drawings in conformance with project and client specifications, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices with the ability to deliver complete and accurate design packages.

Requirements Include:

• Graduation from a certified CAD training program or a Technical/Associates degree in engineering or related field (preferred)
• One to five years of progressive experience in AutoCAD and mechanical design, including as-built effort of industrial facilities
• Proficiency in:
  • Design and drawing package development on multidiscipline projects
  • Setting up new projects utilizing the AutoCAD sheet set manager, template files and dynamic referencing
  • Coordinating with clients and design team members on drafting standards and file exchanges
  • Navigating within 3D laser scan point clouds
• Exceptional written, organizational, and verbal communication skills
