Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for conducting classroom instruction in aircraft systems, general operating subjects and aeronautical decision making.
  • Responsible for part task trainer instruction. Proctors computer-based training.
  • Prepares and conducts briefings, oral and written examinations.
  • Provides ground instruction for a multi pilot type rating including other instructional duties.
  • When designated, assists with course ware development in the training program to keep courses up to date, accurate & responsive to the client's needs & desires.
  • Shall accurately enter into the Training record system or other such repository all items accomplished during each training event, using the standard grading procedures, along with detailed notes and/or comments and/or recommendations pertaining to any outstanding performance, marginal performance, failures to perform properly, and any lack of or marginal language communications skills.
  • Recommends to the TM any necessary remedial training action for a pilot not meeting the standard training progress, performance and schedules prescribed by the customer.
  • Note and record, and report any discrepancy, malfunction, or inoperative item pertaining to the simulator operation and course ware.

Knowledge and Skill Requirement:

  • Bachelor degree (preferred)
  • 5 - 8 years of job related experience

Other Job Related Skills / Background (qualifications required):

  • Meets EASA / FAA and/or JAA requirements, as necessary.
  • Excellent classroom presentation & interpersonal skills.
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Computer & knowledge of internet applications.
  • Must be able & willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
