We have several locations across the US and are looking for new Associates to join our team!

POSITION PURPOSE

Oversee packaging graphic design projects for new product launches and packaging changes end to end (from design briefing to pre-production approval and files in the printing facility) with external agency partners as well as relevant internal PDI partners including, marketing, operations, business technology, legal, quality and regulatory.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Ensure integrity throughout the production process, specs and print ready files in partnership with PDI vendors.
  • Oversee relationship and projects with design agencies and/or consultants. Including, but not limited to briefing, scope of work approvals and feedback.
  • Influence and manage internal approvals from business leads to senior leadership team.
  • Manage budget and process invoices accordingly.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure production leads and relevant external parties have access to physical final proofs while in production.
  • Partner with XF teams to maintain and update repository of packaging files (digital) to ensure corporate document retention policies are being met.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects as the packaging design expert. Including, but not limited to branding work, innovation initiatives, etc.

PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS

  • Efficiencies in approval process.
  • Maintain good partnerships with internal functions involved in packaging process.
  • Bring creative expertise to existing or new projects.
  • Spearhead additional creative projects (if applicable) such as product photography, video with excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or other relevant discipline.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of pre-press accuracy, printer capabilities, printing, structure, unwinds and color.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, design traffic and/or print production experience (healthcare industry is a plus), whether that's in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Experience leading design agencies and/or consultants.
  • Experience in Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Experience producing graphics and design layouts for a variety of projects (including brochures, e-newsletters, signs, online and print ads, promotional items).

  • A natural project owner, proactive, able to adapt and create efficiencies, ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Effective influencer and collaborator with cross functional partners.
  • Exceptional project management skills, attention to detail and accuracy on all phases of design process.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication.
  • Attention to detail, highly organized and excellent follow through.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions.

SALARY RANGE

  • $95,000 - $115,000 annually
