Responsible for coordinating, tracking, and scheduling of products associated with manufacturing and finished goods
Manages the inventory, scheduling, lead times, and planning functions to meet operating plans, balancing service needs and costs
Develops and communicates short/long term production plans to align with forecasted revenue plans
Interacts with Customer Service, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Operations, and Product Management to resolve issues and build consensus on customer/market supply strategy to meet lead times and manufacturing demands
Responsible for ensuring materials and work orders are available to manufacturing in a timely manner to meet production requirements
Assists with overall inventory accuracy and inventory levels
Provides weekly/monthly forecast, delivery status, and capacity updates as required by the SIOP process
Participates in engineering change management process
Reviews all subcontractor and vendor make versus buy requests and advises of any schedule impacts
EDUCATION/ WORK EXPERIENCE/ OTHER JOB RELATED:
Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS);or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum 5 years supply chain experience
SAP experience is a plus
Ability to manage multiple projects and problem solve
Can work independently with little supervision
Excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively with management and personnel at all levels.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to work a varied schedule, willing to work overtime when necessary
Possesses strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in standard business software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office).
