Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) Biostatistics is seeking a Statistical Programmers/Data Analysts to join our team working on the National Institutes of Health (NIH) sponsored RECOVER project, an initiative to understand, prevent, and treat the long-term complications of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Mass General Brigham (MGB) is partnering with the NIH to launch the RECOVER Data Resource Core (DRC), which will contribute to the collection, harmonization, and quality assurance of data collected on study participants, including so-called COVID-19 "long-haulers," throughout the nation. This team will operate under a Principal Investigator based at MGH.
We are looking for well-organized, dynamic, and highly motivated Statistical Programmer/Data Analyst to join MGH Biostatistics to support conduct of the Data Coordinating Center functions of the RECOVER project. The Statistical Programmer/Data Analyst will report to the Senior Project Biostatistician and will work closely with faculty biostatisticians and study staff to facilitate study operations, data collection and quality control, and reporting of research findings. Strong programming skills in SAS or R, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced research environment are required.
