As part of Microsoft Azure, the Azure Networking team designs and builds the network infrastructure that powers hundreds of thousands of servers in datacenters around the globe, providing core network infrastructure services for Azure, Bing, and other Microsoft cloud services. In Azure Networking, we are at the very front of Cloud Computing by running one of the largest data center networks in the world.As a Senior Cloud Network Engineer in Azure Networking, you will gain marketable experience in massive scale data center network architecture design, network infrastructure automatic management, software defined networking and high scalable/available/reliable distributed service design/implementation. ResponsibilitiesDevelop a technical roadmap for major online/cloud services network infrastructure.Create and propose technical solutions when faced with a new complex systems design or process issue, where little or no precedent exists.Provide technical expertise to perform root cause analysis of service interrupting incidents; develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.Take responsibility for prioritizing critical, competing tasks that may lack clear end results.Effectively apply influence strategies and negotiation skills to impact decisions and make trade-offs based on total cost of ownership (TCO) and risk.Drive continuous improvements of the networking service, drive automation to manage the scale and continue to optimize the efforts through appropriate tooling and automation.Embody our Culture and Values.
