What you'll do

As the Accounts Receivable Clerk [Hybrid] based at our brand new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Charlotte, MI, you will enjoy partnering cross-functionally to handle customer billing and facilitate payment processing for the accounts receivable department.

You will be accountable for ensuring that the accounts receivable invoicing process is consistent and accurate and for preparing and monitoring accounts receivable aging reports and customer invoices.

Once trained, this role's hybrid schedule will require two days per week in-office (flexibility is offered on the days you are in office).

You will also:

  • Prepare bank deposits and review for accuracy
  • Perform check runs and maintain accounts receivable and customer files
  • Apply payments to outstanding customer invoices in a timely manner
  • Monitor and maintain accounts receivable aging reports and invoices
  • Facilitate the accounts receivable process through effective communication and phone outreach
  • Prepare customer invoices and Manufacturers Statements of Origin (MSO) for all chassis
  • Maintain MSO log and reconcile customer accounts
  • Access credit reports and necessary tax documents
  • Send credit inquiries to references for customers seeking net 30-day billing terms
  • Participate in the review of customer credit issues
  • Maintain accounts receivable and customer files
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to customer requests for information

What you need to be successful
  • High School Diploma Diploma or GED
  • One year of Accounts Receivable (AR) experience minimum
  • Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts
  • Intermediate computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Plex EPR knowledge (Preferred)
