University College provides services and programs designed to assist incoming students with their transition to Illinois State University. IDS 107, Summer Success Skills, is a three-hour transitional course that assists students with building and enhancing critical thinking skills, academic success skills, and community engagement.
Pay Rate$14.00/hour
Required Qualifications- Applicants must have an overall GPA of at least a 2.5
- Applicants must be in good standing with Illinois State University as it relates to student conduct.
- The ideal candidate will have experience facilitating discussions and giving presentations as well as have experience mentoring peers in an educational setting.
Work HoursBetween the hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm with the possibility of some evening and weekend hours

Illinois State University student employees are restricted to no more than 28 hours per week of on-campus employment for all positions held.
International students are restricted by their visa status to no more than 20 hours per week of on-campus employment when the university is in session but may work more when the university is not in session.
