Wage Range: $95,888 - $153,379 per year

Job Summary
Coordinates staffing and the delivery of services, oversees the daily clinical functioning of the outpatient rehabilitation therapy programs. Develops and coordinates patient care programs and activities and performs evaluations of individual patients and treatments of individual patients or patient groups.
Primary Duties:
  1. Manages operations of the outpatient rehabilitation therapy programs and processes.
  2. Plans and executes an annual operating budget, which is within financial services guidelines and provides the necessary resources to accomplish the mission of the department.
  3. Responsible for design, implementation, development, and management of ergonomic processes and ensures safe patient handling compliance.
  4. Supervises outpatient rehabilitation therapy staff.
  5. Arranges adequate and appropriate staffing and provides oversight of scheduling.
  6. Interviews, hires, orients and trains qualified, motivated staff, establishing behavioral and performance standards.
  7. Develops and demonstrates effective communication which fosters favorable attitudes and motivation with all members of the healthcare team.
  8. Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:

REQUIREDfor the position:
  • Current Washington State license in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, or related rehabilitation field
  • Experience evaluating and treating patients in appropriate clinical area
  • 3 years of experience in a patient care setting
  • 1 year of previous experience in a supervisory role in rehabilitation services
  • Knowledge of the multidimensional needs of an active, comprehensive rehabilitation services department which includes multidisciplinary programming in both the inpatient and outpatient arenas across the continuum of care.
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification by date of hire

DESIREDfor the position:
  • Advanced degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Pathology, or related rehabilitation field
  • Previous experience with program development and management
