Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Manages large quantities of data and produces intelligent data tables.
- Utilizes reporting from Bl, billing systems and collection software to analyze cash posting activities.
- Maintains, posts and supplies month-end-close reconciliations.
- Prepares and distributes a variety of statistical reports timely and as necessary.
- Provides technical and analytical support to the department.
- Develops and implements solutions to streamline processes.
- Performs special projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or three years of relevant work experience in lieu of education requirement.
- One year experience in healthcare billing processes, finance and/or accounting.
- Ability to demonstrate advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong data entry skills with emphasis on numeric data entry and ability to type 40-50 wpm with a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and with multiple team members.
- Demonstrated ability to apply problem-solving techniques.
Preferred
- Home health or hospice intake experience.
- Post-secondary education or training in Business or medical billing/collections.
- Three years' experience in healthcare billing processes, finance and/or accounting.
- Ability to perform root cause analysis.
- Analytical mindset promoting trend analysis.

- This position is onsite. Option to work four, 9 hour days and half day Friday
