Description

The Senior Administrative Assistant provides clerical support to Medical Staff Services in Missoula, MT at Providence St. Patrick Hospital. Prepares, generates and maintains physician's call schedule and is also responsible for generating correspondence, reports, mail outs, meeting notices and maintaining provider expirations. They work independently as well as a team member to provide for the smooth operation of Medical Staff Services. They create a friendly and cooperative atmosphere for hospital personnel and medical/professional staff members. The Senior Administrative Assistant has the ability to maintain poise in stressful situations and continually exhibit outstanding public relation skills. They must stay abreast of current medical/professional staff policies and ongoing projects. It is vital that the Senior Administrative Assistant preserve the confidential nature of certain information. This position maintains necessary equipment and office supplies and is responsible for other duties as required and assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 years Clerical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or
  • Business school with emphasis on secretarial skills and office work
  • Hospital experience
  • Experience using a computer
