DaVita is seeking a Patient Care Technician who is looking to give life in an outpatient dialysis center.

* No Dialysis experience is required - we WILL train you!!

What You Can Expect:

* Spend the majority of your day in direct one-on-one patient care to provide dialysis treatment for multiple patients at a time

* Monitor patients before, during and after dialysis treatment including measuring and recording stats, patient observations, and hemodialysis machine setup. Please note you will have exposure to blood and needles.

* You will also be responsible for educating patients on Kidney Dialysis related topics, by working on a cross functional team of clinicians while working under the supervision of a RN.

* Shifts can begin as early as 4:00 am. Typically working 10-12 hour shifts, 3 days/week. Clinics are closed on Sundays, and may be open on some holidays.

What We Look For:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Must be comfortable working around blood and needles and mixing acid or bicarb

* Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet.

* Be available for extensive paid training program.

* Health care experience is not required but a plus!!! This includes: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
