Genesis10 is seeking an SAP Project Manager for our client in the Food Service Industry. This is a Remote Contract opportunity.

Rate $80.00ph - $110ph W2

W2 Status:

Job Summary:
The SAP IT Project Manager is responsible for leading project teams and managing all activities in a project life cycle (initiation planning, executing, and closing) associated with the SAP upgrade planning project. This project is medium to high in risk, scope, complexity. You would be responsible for IT implementation and support; ensuring all stakeholders stay connected.

Responsibilities:
  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing business requirements.
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to PMO, Project Sponsor, IT Management and other Stakeholders.
  • Works with IT Leadership Team to manage the SAP Upgrade Planning project.
  • Collaborate with a team of internal engineers and/or 3rd party consultants.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of the SAP upgrade planning project (scope, schedule, budget, & resources). Evaluates and minimizes risks to project.
  • Advocates the advantages of Project Management principles and practices throughout the organization.
  • Effectively applies ePMO methodologies and enforces project standards.
  • Communicates comfortably with executives and can influence and persuade others.
  • Maintains current knowledge of SAP trends and developments.
Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP systems including the development and execution of technical roadmaps and system upgrades.
  • Proven track record in managing large scale SAP projects from inception to completion.
  • Proficiency in SAP products such as SAP ERP, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BW/BI, SAP CRM, etc.
  • Experience or familiarity with the technical areas of SAP (ABAP, Basis) is preferred.
  • Experience with total product landscapes (SAP and non-SAP systems exchanging information).
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices and trends in SAP implementation.
  • SAP certification is a plus.
  • Experience in the consumer products and/or food industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and software development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of data migration strategies and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects and resources.
  • Experience in change management and business process re-engineering.
  • Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Must have excellent and persuasive written and verbal communication skills. Must be capable of creating clear and effective presentations, and/or meetings with clients, peers, and management.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 5+ years of experience in IT; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
