Job Description

Under general supervision of the Chief Medical Officer and in collaboration with the Executive Director of Behavioral Health, the Medical Director provides quality direct patient care and lead administrative services to a multidisciplinary team in a variety of clinical settings.

Partners with Nurse and Social Work leaders to ensure the delivery of high quality acute care, focusing on evidence-based practice, measurable outcomes, patient experience, and is financially and operationally sustainable.

The Medical Director is responsible for the direction and oversight of psychiatric evaluations, medications, and treatment planning management. The Medical Director will oversee all psychiatric clinical care; provide medical supervision and administrative direction to medical providers who provide care to patients including advance practice nurses and Psychiatrist colleagues.

  • Medical Degree (MD/DO)
  • Must be board certified in Psychiatry
  • Board eligible candidates must be certified in the first three years of employment
