Job Summary:
As a Material Handler II, you are expected to drive a forklift and maintain necessary certification, and route or deliver materials to correct storage or manufacturing locations.
Minimum Qualifications:
No minimum education required
2+ years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
Basic proficiency in use of scanners and label printers
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification
Route or deliver materials to correct storage or manufacturing locations
Check goods received to purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reports
Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials
Responsible for labeling, storing, and inventorying items
Process warranty items such as entering Returned Goods Authorizations into
database
Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels and
necessary adjustments
Operate cranes and hoists
Perform scanning functions in the ERP system for receiving product
Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules
