Responsibilities

We are currently in search of a seasoned provider data specialist. The successful candidate will be tasked with the review and audit of our contracted provider network data across multiple systems. The role involves ensuring the currency of complex provider demographic data through research, analysis, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical expertise: Handle inquiries related to provider data across various systems, offering solutions and guidance.

Collaborate with teams: Work with teams across the organization to support provider data refinement activities and meet regulatory requirements. This includes ensuring data accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Coordinate provider setup activities: Oversee complex provider setup activities, including verification, receipt, and processing of provider demographic data. This involves ensuring data integrity and consistency across all systems.

Assist with service activities: Aid in service activities such as provider education, technology usage, and processing provider data updates. This includes developing educational materials and conducting training sessions.

Coordinate vendor assignments: Assist in coordinating vendor assignments related to the Provider Data Currency program. This involves managing vendor relationships and ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Monitor provider outreach results: Keep track of provider outreach results and inventory reconciliation. This includes analyzing outreach effectiveness and making necessary adjustments.

Participate in meetings: Take part in client and business partner meetings that require reporting for Provider Data Currency. This involves preparing and presenting reports on data currency status.



Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred)

Experience: Significant experience (5+ years) in Workers Compensation or provider data management systems

Communication skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information

Problem-solving skills: Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently

Technical skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Data analysis skills: Ability to analyze, model, and interpret data, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy

Planning skills: Capability to plan work and meet deadlines, with excellent time management skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

QuickBase knowledge: Familiarity with QuickBase, with the ability to navigate and utilize its features effectively

SQL and Cognos writing skills: Proficiency in SQL and Cognos writing, with the ability to write and execute complex queries

Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and self-motivation

Attention to detail: Accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in data

Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with colleagues and stakeholders

Teamworking skills: Excellent teamworking skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with others
