GENERAL DESCRIPTION / PRIMARY PURPOSE

Under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, provides administrative support and manages the front desk operation to ensure efficient and smooth day-to-day functionality. Provides administration support to the Finance Department.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS/DUTIES OF THE POSITION

* Assists in the scheduling and coordination of interviews, meetings and HR events, including Adopt a Highway, Pineapple Festival, Christmas Parade, etc.

* Organize, compile, update company personnel records, and documentation.

* Provides information and assistance to staff, supervisors, and the public concerning human resources activities, processes, policies, and procedures.

* Support recruitment processes by coordinating job posting and assisting in the interview and recruitment processes.

* Assists with organizing and managing new employee orientation, on boarding, and training programs.

* Responsible for donation requests.

* Responsible for tracing safety meetings and WPS trainings.

* Assists with Puuiki Beach Park reservations, updates the master file and communicates weekly with caretakers.

* Assists Tour Store as needed.

* Provides administrative support for invoice processing.

* Set up, document, maintenance, and coordination of Dole records retention with 3rd party vendor.

* Assist with organizing and processing of payable documents after proper auditing and final verification of FAP authorization.

* Coordinates with DBS for AP batch processing, vendor maintenance, payment follow up and other vendor issues.

* Ensures the maintenance of safe and healthful working conditions for employees in accordance with company policies and programs and federal/state regulations. Enforces safety rules and regulations and participates in Dole safety programs to eliminate accidents

* Performs all the various related accounting and administrative duties as needed.

* Performs special projects as assigned.


Required Skills

JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY, EXPERIENCE)

* Computer skills - Proficient with Microsoft Office.

* Valid driver's license with clean abstract.

* Oral and written communication skills.

* Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
