NOTICE OF FILING OF APPLICATION UNDER THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR'S PERMANENT LABOR CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

An application concerning the employment of one or more alien workers for the following permanent position will be filed with the Department of Labor. POSITION TITLE: Physicist II

POSITION DUTIES: Provide clinical physics services to support all technical aspects of radiation oncology procedures to ensure safe, effective delivery at 3 Montefiore facilities in Bronx NY. Use Geant4/TOPAS to evaluate dose enhancement. Perform algorithm development using C/C++, C#, Python, ROOT (Data analysis). Perform nuclear interaction simulation for particle therapy, electronic & HDR Brachytherapy dose distributions. Supervise/Assist in radiation training of medical and medical physics residents.

RATE OF PAY: Annual Salary: $165,000.00

The employer will pay or exceed the prevailing wage, as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: MS in Medical Physics. Completion of 2-yr Therapeutic Medical Physics residencyat CAMPEP approved Radiation Oncology Medical Physics Residency program. Qualify for American Board ofRadiology ABR Board Certification or able to sit for ABR Board Exam III. Qualify for NYS Medical Physicist - Therapeutic Radiological license.
