POSITION TITLE

Bedding Nonwovens Account Manager

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is part of Milliken's Engineered Performance Products (EPP) business unit. In this role, you will support all internal aspects of the bedding business segment to ensure we have the right products, the products are available at high quality, and are easy for our customers to order. You will maintain accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and help drive new business. This position is located in Spartanburg, SC at Milliken's Corporate Headquarters.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support sales functions by visiting customers, conducting customer meetings, and supporting the product quality improvement initiatives.
  • Help support customer service and supply chain efforts by facilitating onboarding for new customers and helping to manage inventory, pushing aged inventory, and making decision on product substitutions.
  • Support marking efforts to allow the team to easily communicate the value proposition for our products.
  • Support new product development work at all stages of the process.
  • Work with sourcing to ensure proper product specification and working loss standards are established.
  • Research and vet new outside manufacturing partners when capabilities are not available internally.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • BS/BA degree (technical degree preferred)
  • Very skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of products (especially Excel)
  • Experienced in use of CRM and SAP systems
  • Self-starter with integrity and confidence who strives to achieve in even the most challenging environments.
  • Team player with well-developed interpersonal skills who is comfortable in a cross-functional, multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong presentations and technical writing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Ability to work and gain results in a team environment

QUALIFICATIONS - PREFFERED

  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Experience vetting new manufacturers
