Primary Responsibilities:

The General Manager of Fallen Oak is responsible for providing strategic direction, daily oversight, and leadership for the Fallen Oak golf course, food & beverage, retail, valet and all other corresponding areas in accordance with luxury brand standards. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Company policies, practices and procedures.

• Oversee leadership in the development and monitoring of the Fallen Oak Club House fiscal budgets and guest service standards, to maximize revenue opportunities to produce both short-term and long-term profitability for Golf, Food & Beverage, and Retail Operations.

• Oversees the development and implementation of the strategic plan and vision for the Fallen Oak Club House operations including Golf Course, Food & Beverage and Retail consistent with the company's objectives to also include marketing and sales.

• Direct leadership team as it pertains to departmental expenses and adjust according to business demands to meet forecast expectation by monitoring departmental budget, P&L, reporting and forecasting.

• Direct leadership team in operational decisions and process implementation for such items as purchase requisitions, inventory control, departmental procedures and customer relations.

• Partner with the Executive Director of Grounds to ensure playability, course standards and guest feedback are of central focus to ensure superior playing conditions.

• Partner with Hotel Sales to maximize opportunities for direct golf sales as well as leverage Fallen Oak for convention clients.

• Partnering with Hotel Sales and Food & Beverage team/s to maximize Top Golf Experience for clients and guests.

• Ensures compliance with Company policies and procedures and local, state and federal laws.

• Oversees the staff compliance to ensure technical, operational and safety training for employees to ensure that staff is working within OSHA safety, state and federal guidelines for safe working conditions.

• Conducts performance evaluations in accordance with property and company guidelines; provide positive follow up guidelines for opportunities for employee improvement.

• Ensures quality hiring, training, onboarding and succession planning processes that encompass the Company's diversity commitment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

• 4+ years of prior relevant experience in the golf profession or clubhouse management
