Primary Function

Record, maintain, and research all transactions related to receiving purchased parts. Complete essential functions of Controlled Stores Clerk as required; specifically, conduct the daily cycle count.

Responsibilities
  1. Complete all clerical functions related to receiving inbound material accurately and within the time parameters established (data entry goal is within 15 minutes of receipt, and problems resolved the same day as receipt).
  2. Review, file, maintain, and research (as requested) all receiving paperwork. Files are to be retained in accordance with company procedures.
  3. Review, maintain, and research data entries in a computer based system. Complete investigation and resolution of parts needed for the production exception report.
  4. Report production, scrap exceptions, complete work orders, fill parts requisitions.
  5. Assist in achieving inventory accuracy in warehouse 100 through investigation of inventory discrepancies and scheduled cycle counts.
  6. Provide information to buyers, planners, stock transaction clerks, accounts payable, vendors, and transportation personnel as needed to resolve receiving and accounts payable discrepancies.
  7. Complete the daily cycle count. Research, determine causes, and assign corrective action of all errors found. Compile reports, distribute and file.
  8. Other duties as assigned.
