Segra is searching for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Senior Vice President of Carrier Sales. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Senior Vice President of Carrier Sales will be responsible for leading Segra's wholesale/carrier sales organization. This role entails developing and executing strategic initiatives to drive business growth, optimizing sales processes, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue generation, maintaining key client relationships, and ensuring alignment with Segra's overarching business objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies to achieve or exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisition and sales revenue.

* - Drive revenue retention and contract renewals to sustain and expand Segra's wholesale/carrier revenue base.

* - Forecast accurately and meet quarterly booked sales commitments through effective sales funnel management and opportunity qualification.

* - Conduct regular staff meetings and one-on-one sessions with direct reports to review forecasts, discuss top opportunities, address challenges, and support recruitment efforts.

* - Travel up to 50% to engage with sales team members in the field, attend industry events, and represent Segra in customer meetings.

* - Act as a proactive "selling sales leader" by participating in customer meetings and calls to drive sales momentum.

* - Provide coaching and mentorship to sales team leaders to enhance their leadership skills and improve overall team performance.

* - Retain top-performing sales leaders and representatives while actively recruiting exceptional talent to maintain optimal team strength.

* - Cultivate a robust network of industry contacts to promote Segra and expand business opportunities.

Qualifications:

* - 10+ years of sales team leadership experience in the wholesale/carrier sector within the telecommunications and cloud industry.

* - Track record of achieving sales leadership success and driving quantifiable results in the wholesale/carrier sector.

* - Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college; Master's degree or MBA is advantageous.

* - Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth business environment.

* - Proven ability to lead transformational initiatives and execute successful sales strategies.

* - Demonstrated proficiency in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top sales talent.

* - Extensive network of trusted business relationships within the wholesale/carrier sector.
