How you'll be impactful:

The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving our content strategy across our AI and Astrology mobile apps. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that drive user acquisition and engagement. You will work cross-functionally to create a product marketing strategy, app feature development, and manage retention campaigns. You will work closely with our product team to ensure that our marketing efforts align with the app's features and benefits. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of astrology and how it relates to our target audience, as well as experience in product marketing.

Please note: This role will be required to be in our SF office at minimum 2x/week (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop product messaging and positioning that sets us apart from competitors and demonstrates understanding of our customers' needs
  • Work closely with the product team to understand user behavior, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop content that supports user engagement and retention
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the mobile app landscape, competitive landscape, and industry trends in order to inform content strategy and execution
  • Work with the broader marketing team to launch campaigns that span web, community, social, email, ads, and other marketing channels
  • Develop and execute a content marketing strategy that focuses on customer retention and engagement
  • Help define integrated marketing strategy and creative positioning for new mobile apps
  • Willingness and experience to "roll up your sleeves" and flex between strategic and tactical/execution responsibilities when needed

Whatyou'll need to be successful:

  • 3+ years in product-focused content marketing or a related role
  • Experience must include marketing B2C mobile apps
  • Understanding of younger user behaviors and how to engage with them on an authentic level.
  • Team player who can drive execution by working cross-functionally with analytics, marketing, design, and engineering.
  • Direct experience operating as a full-stack marketer, leading cross-functional initiatives from ideation to execution
  • Highly analytical, creative, good with numbers, results-driven, entrepreneurial, quick learner
  • Direct experience writing messaging, positioning and author on-brand end-user content
  • Extremely detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel

The US base salary range for this full-time position is still being determined. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
