Summary: The location of this work is at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. The nature of this work is to provide
multi-media/video support. Providing support services to the Directorate of Training and Doctrine/Learning Technology Division/Instructional Multimedia Solutions Branch.

Job Description:

  • Perform video camera work, audio recording, editing, and pre/post-production tasks related to product development and delivery in streaming format over the local intranet and world-wide intranet.

  • Transport, set-up, and breakdown audio and video equipment in various locations within the MEDCOE and Fort Sam Houston, Camp Bullis and San Antonio, TX

  • Provide support in recording, transcribing, scripting, editing, and post-production multimedia implementation of internally developed training products.

  • Provide support in recording, transcribing, scripting, editing, and post-production multimedia implementation of internally developed training products.

  • Arrive, complete setup, connection, and testing of audio and video equipment prior to start of video capture time.

  • Produce and edit informational technical training videos.

  • Develop scripts for multimedia (computer and video based) projects.

  • Provide audio narration recording and editing associated with multimedia projects.

  • Assemble different text, audio, video, graphics, and animation.

  • Implement all stages of video production, camera operation, audio and lighting, shooting for edit, editing and post-production activities for video-based and computer-based products.

Required Qualifications:

  • Specialized skills in video expertise using design software and pre-press production.

  • Technical Certificate or associate degree with 5 years' experience.

  • Experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
