We are actively seeking a Day Shift Production Supervisor for our Fargo plant. This position will primarily focus on the fabrication, machining and welding areas of the plant. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, implementation and maintenance of the manufacturing activities of a specific area. You will ensure the effective use of materials, equipment and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.

Responsibilities
    Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet marketplace demand.
  • Follows established procedures and drives continuous improvement in the plant's manufacturing processes, including fabrication, welding, paint and/or assembly.
  • Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing.
  • Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations.
  • Act as Team Supervisor accountable for managing people, setting direction, deploying resources focusing on team completion of assignments and routines.
  • Reviews and accountable for meeting day-to-day short-term targets, setting priorities for the team and task completion.
  • Observe work areas for safety improvements.
  • Learn and apply written safety procedures.
  • Follows established procedures and drive continuous improvement in the plants manufacturing processes
  • Resolves issues related to the organizations production
  • Learn and maximize production throughput
  • Develop and mentor employees
  • Direct and Assign work
  • Other related duties as assigned.

The annual salary for this role is $63,375-$84,500 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • High school diploma/GED
  • 4 or more years in a manufacturing environment, to include experience with Production, Operations, Supervision, or Engineering
  • 2 or more years of demonstrated leadership ability
