Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

    Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads information for use in documents such as manuals, procedures and specifications.
  • Provides expert, timely editing support for reports, proposals, articles, and other documents.
  • Develops clear-written materials for various constituents, such as operations, technical manuals, tutorials, specifications and help systems
  • Interviews staff to collect information and specifications
  • Collects and organizes information and coordinates layout for publication
  • Adheres to established terminology, style and editorial quality standardsRequires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise
  • Interprets internal or external business issues and recommends best practices
  • Solves complex problems; takes a broad perspective to identify innovative solutions
  • Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situations
  • May lead functional teams or projects
  • Requires depth and/or breadth of expertise in own specialized area and general knowledge of related areas
  • Interprets internal/external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes, or services
  • May lead teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity
  • Leads others to solve complex problems; uses analytical thinking, tools, and judgement to identify innovative solutions

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance
  • Requries Bachelor's Degree and 7 or more years of relevant experience

Target Salary Range
$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
