ROLE SUMMARY
Client is seeking a seasoned SAP QA Lead with over five years of specialized experience in SAP modules such as FSCD, FS-RI, SAP BP, Workflow, and FiGL. The role involves leading a QA team across onsite and offshore environments, crafting and executing test cases for system enhancements, and managing regression test scripts. A strong background in software testing, SAP integrations, and familiarity with insurance domain practices is essential. Experience with SAP TOSCA, Solution Manager, ChaRM, and a track record in business analysis within the P&C insurance sector is highly desirable.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead QA team of 3-6 members at onsite/offshore environment.
  • Troubleshoot and triage source-to-target system data using XML, log viewers, interface, and SAP data.
  • Construct and execute test cases for new enhancement and defect fixes.
  • Document test failures to assist the developers to investigate the failure.
  • Maintain and update regression test scripts with each new release.
  • Coordinate testing with other application teams.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of SAP experience in FSCD, FS-RI, SAP BP, Workflow, and FiGL modules.
  • Proficiency with SAP TOSCA Automation Tool and SAP Solution Manager (SolMan).
  • Ability to create new test cases, analyze failures, and fix the test scripts independently.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work with various SAP teams and comprehend automation requirements.
  • Must have 2+ years of Business Analysis (BA), Quality Analyst (QA) experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance sector.
  • Experience in BA and/or QA application maintenance, enhancement, and Production Support in IT systems.
  • Knowledge of SAP BAPI/RFC and integration experience with upstream applications, particularly GuideWire or similar Policy/Claim Administration Systems.
  • Proficient in developing and reviewing test plans, scenarios, cases, scripts, and in bug/defect analysis.
  • Experience with SAP ChaRM for release management and coordination with SAP BASIS teams for production deployments.
  • A solid foundation in SAP and a thorough understanding of software testing life cycles.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Possess analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience leading teams in an onsite-offshore working environment model.
  • Knowldege of the inurance/reinsurance domain is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor's Degree and above from an accredited college or university.
