Position Summary | Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain experience and
work with skilled Medical and Pharmacy professionals in a fast-paced,
professional setting? If so, the College of Pharmacy - New Mexico Poison and
Drug Information Center (NMPDIC) is looking for students to assist with the
following duties and responsibilities under the supervision of licensed pharmacist(s), faculty, and/or other upper
management professionals: - Assist with frontend responsibilities including answering phone, assisting guests, taking messages, checking Xerox paper supplies, stock coffee, scanning and filing documents and other administrative tasks
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including overseeing Client Satisfaction Survey program
- Data entry, creating and editing documents, forms and files
- Prepare mailings and documents for mailings and public education
- Other duties as assigned

Conditions of Employment | - Employees who provide services or work in patient care or clinical areas are required to be in compliance with the University's influenza vaccination requirement.

Minimum Qualifications | High school diploma or GED. Must have obtained high school diploma no greater than 24 months prior to date of hire; no previous experience required. |
Preferred Qualifications | - Excellent
written, verbal and social communication skills
- Required
computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and internet
- Proficient
in use of office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, laptop and others)
- Ability
to commit to agreed schedule
- Willingness to work
independently and as part of a team
