The Construction Coordinator in Albany, NY is responsible for providing support to Superintendents, Project Managers, and Construction Managers on assigned projects. Responsible for the maintenance of project schedules, drawings, change orders, other documents, field coordination, etc.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, Construction Managers, and Site Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) Manager in communicating safety culture and upholding safety policies and procedures throughout the project
  • Assists Superintendents, Construction Managers, and Schedulers in preparing and managing the construction schedule and planning of work
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers and Construction Managers in coordinating field work daily across multiple disciplines working to proactively identify and resolve issues in the field
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers and Construction Managers with monitoring and reporting of Subcontractor's daily progress and quality
  • Participates in the Safe Behavior Observation (SBO) process
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Construction Managers in documenting changes in scope of work
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers and Construction Managers with proper preparation, reviews, and approvals of all closeout documentation and continuous updates of as-built drawings and documents
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, Construction Managers, and Quality Control coordinating required testing and documentation
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, Construction Managers, and Quality Control in assuring Construction Quality standards are met daily and documents all issues to closure through the project punch list
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, Construction Mangers, and Project Controls in maintaining the Contract Documents, and that they are always up to date, with all revised drawings, addenda, and Change Orders
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Construction Managers in preparation of all project status reports
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Construction Managers in coordinating reviews of submittals and RFI's with responsible design professionals
  • Assists Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Construction Managers in contributing to company's continuous improvement standards through lessons learned and further development to processes and procedures
  • Responsible for all construction records management
Show your expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • OSHA10 required
  • OSHA30 preferred
  • Experience working on construction projects Experience working in a fast paced environment preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point), Adobe Writer, Visio and basic
