As a Director, Finance Controller you will be responsible for all Accounting, Governance and strategic growth of the site while partnering with operations to ensure organizational objectives are met. This role encompasses professional accounting diligence in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles + internal & external reporting requirements. Also responsible for providing accurate and timely financial information for the Site, provide financial guidance, supervision and training for multi-disciplinary groups on the business Site, provide analytical support related to site financials and help establish long term and short term forecast.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for meeting the financial reporting requirements of the site including productivity analysis, measures of performance, month-end financial close and related analysis
  • Lead the site finance department.
  • Prepare monthly account analysis of profit & loss statement and balance sheet accounts.
  • Responsible for short term and long term financial forecast
  • Monitor, maintain and review financial records (including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Ensure systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies, acceptable accounting practices, applicable regulations and required filings are submitted on time.
  • Actively participate in the appropriate management team(s), assisting with the development and realization of strategic plans, budgets, goals and outcomes.
  • Monitor and review compliance of internal controls related to financial reporting.
  • Recommend and implement improvements where required.


What skills you will require:

  • Strong People leader / team management skills
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial planning and analysis or other financial activity.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS regulations.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of integrated financial systems (Common ERP)


Preferred characteristics:

  • Recognized accounting designation strongly preferred (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA or CFM); or equivalent.
