Based in beautiful downtown Kent, OH, you will oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and analytics for the Utility Vegetation Management (UVM) Market Segment within DRG.

What you'll do:
  • Supervise a small nationwide team of professionals.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and administrative support staff to understand and assess existing systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement plans to optimize financial accounting and reporting processes using systems such as SAP S4, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Success Factors, SAP Concur, Microsoft PowerBI, and Google Workspace.
  • Leverage financial data to support client goals, including cost analysis, pricing review, and predictive analytics.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive business information, including compensation data and performance metrics.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for business forecasting and performance measurement.
  • Align pricing templates with financial reports to enhance bidding and project management processes.
  • Develop a system for tracking and reporting the growth of key services and process improvement initiatives.
  • Understand and manage overhead costs and investments to support strategic decision-making.
What you'll need:
  • Proven track record of leadership and team management in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively across teams and departments.
  • Strong written, oral, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Strong proficiency in financial systems and software, including SAP, Microsoft PowerBI, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and data analytics tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in the utility or energy sector.
