City Experiences is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for our NYC Ferry operation in Brooklyn.

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for the safe and timely shipping, distribution, storing packaging and otherwise transporting of inventory for NYC Ferry.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Inspect incoming inventory and equipment for quality before storing or rerouting.
* Use moving equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to safe and efficient move inventory around the warehouse and shipping facility.
* Packaging inventory for safe shipping.
* Ensure delivery schedule is maintained and promptly alert supervisors if a delay occurs or is likely.
* Perform periodic inventory checks to ensure the accuracy of database information and minimize the risk of inventory issues.
* Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with Wheelhouse.
* Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
* Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in the logistics field
• Must have a valid driver's license
• At least 2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
• Strong experience with inventory software and control systems
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Previous marine experience preferred
• Proven track record of working successfully in a team environment
