Position Summary:

Moves, sorts and collects supplies, materials, and other items throughout the warehouse. Loads and unloads pallets, trucks and other conveyances.

Essential duties and responsibilities (3-5 core functions representing 80% of time spent):

• De-packs palletized and metal storage containers of cardboard boxes.
• Sorts and stores material by SPI and size on pallets or in wooden crates.
• Moves and sorts supplies and materials to proper locations.
• Collects supplies and materials to proper location by wheelbarrow or hand truck.
• Stacks materials, collects salvageable materials and discards refuses.
• Prepares boxes for painting.
• Paints boxes to cover all previous shipping or mailing labels.
• Must wear all protective equipment required by department.
• Must follow all company policies and procedures including departmental safety policies.
• Performs all other duties as assigned

1. Qualifications (Minimum education, experience, training, licensure, certification):

• Must have HS diploma or equivalent.
• Previous general labor experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a security clearance.
