Job Description

What you'll do:
As a dedicated Optometrist in the Carson City office, you'll enjoy a friendly and fun work environment alongside a well-rounded team. Working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., you'll provide care to a diverse patient population. You'll have the opportunity to diagnose and treat ocular diseases, prescribe and fit corrective eyewear, answer patient questions, and offer expert advice on vision health. Equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including Optovue OCT-Retinal Camera, Zeiss Visual Field, autorefractors, and noncontact tonometry, you'll deliver exceptional care with precision.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
