N4 Solutions, LLC is seeking an Scientific Technical Writer to support our National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Strokes (NINDS). This position is contingent upon passing a government suitability test.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Write and edit articles and other materials on areas on pain research and related public health issues, programs, and policies for varied national audiences
  • Prepare high profile meeting summaries and other materials such as science advances for programs such as the NIH Pain Consortium, the Helping to End Addiction Longterm (HEAL) initiative, the Interagency Pain Research Coordinating Committee, and other programs in which The Office of Pain Policy and Planning (OPPP) participates
  • Prepare Congressional reports in areas related to NIH pain research initiatives and activities, International Pain Research Committee (IPRCC) activities, NIH funding strategies and history, and other areas in which OPPP participates
  • Create and publicize content, for print, website, and social media outlets
  • Produce fact sheets, brochures, one- page flyers, and other outreach and scientific education materials on pain and related public health issues, for varied audiences have different scientific backgrounds
  • Utilize various administrative and scientific databases to support activities and reporting requirements of the OPPP
  • Design and coordinate systems for communications among staff to facilitate the efficient flow of information relating to the meeting planning, engagement and educational projects, exhibits, and program activities
  • Support collection, analysis and presentation of data for OPPP activities such as literature reviews
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree and minimum of 4 years of experience in public health or related fields
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in research and developing public health related material
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or under minimal guidance.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
