Position Summary

Provides job specific pre-analytic training including phlebotomy, specimen management, and order entry to all current and new staff. Assists in developing and implementing training and education programs under the direction of the Manager of Pre-analytic Training.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High School Diploma / GED preferred. Associate's degree preferred.

License/Certifications: Certification as a Phlebotomist by a recognized professional organization (e.g., ASCP or AMT) required within one year of hire (ASCP, AMT, NHA). Driver's license required.

Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in both phlebotomy and specimen management.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Demonstrated proficiency with laboratory computer systems.
