Job Description:

Therapist-(Certified or Licensed)-(In-Patient)-(Full-Time)

  • Provides clinical services including psychosocial assessment, individual, family and group therapies that meet the established standards of care and standards of practice.
  • Develops patient treatment plans with the identified patient and family and reassess treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Along with fellow treatment team members, the therapist develops aftercare plans and ensures that the appropriate recommendations have been provided to the patient and family.
  • The therapist attempts to ensure that all patients have a follow up appointment, access to medication and transportation to their next provider appointment.
  • All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.

I. Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required

  • Possess a master's degree in social work, Counseling or related field and have met all requirements for and obtained state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

OR

  • Possess a master's degree in social work, Counseling or related field and have met all requirements for and obtained state licensure as a Certified Social Worker (CSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA).

  • Must possess knowledge and skills in providing individual, group and family psychotherapy with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Must show proficiency in completing assessments, treatment planning, aftercare planning and crisis management. Communication skills must be exceptional with the ability to interact professionally with professionals of multiple disciplines.
