JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assisting the City Construction Management Division (CMD) with construction monitoring and inspection
* Meeting with contractors, city officials and others to resolve problems in the field Investigating complaints from the general public concerning construction projects
* Preparing of daily inspection logs and reports
* Maintaining of project records and documentation
* Reviewing and processing of contractor's application for payment
* Attending project meetings
* Training city and new consultant inspection staff
* Inspect I&C systems for defects

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* BS in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of I&C inspection experience OR
* Demonstrated equivalency of education/experience to have performed the responsibilities above
* Wastewater and construction industry experience strongly preferred
* Project management experience
* Strong communication skills
* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
