Job Purpose

Dana Incorporated is searching for a skilled and highly motivated person to join the NVH/CAE/CAD group. This person will lead the advanced simulation that encompasses several key responsibilities, including the implementation of AI/ML, 1D simulation, and automating simulation processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Lead the advanced simulation capability growth.
* Incorporate the new simulation capabilities into the technology development plan.
* Lead the development of simulation procedures and methodologies for the core engineering group.
* Work with test and simulation teams to improve design and development efficiency with the new process, including AI and Machine Learning.
* Contribute to, help define, and lead applied R&D projects for drivetrain attribute analysis.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align simulation objectives with business goals.
* Stay abreast of the latest simulation technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:
* Strong foundation in engineering principles, proficiency in simulation software, and experience with AI/ML techniques.
* BSME or 4-year degree in relevant Engineering field required.
* Years Required: 7+ or Equivalent Education/Experience combination.
* Demonstrated technical leadership and accomplishments in previous position(s).
* Must be capable of performing duties with limited supervision.
* Strong interpersonal skills to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner.
* Ability to work in a team environment, able to communicate complex technical concepts to non-experts.
* Experience with AI/ML process preferred.
* Experience with test/CAE correlation process preferred.
* Experience with NVH vibroacoustic analysis preferred.
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
* Must be able to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
* Must be willing and able to work extra hours as necessary to complete assignments.
* Program management skills, experience dealing with customers and manufacturing plants are pluses.
* Must have the necessary skills and knowledge to manage large scale customer projects with measurable success.
* Must protect Dana's IP, know when and what data to share to bring projects to successful completion.
* Demonstrated proficiency in tackling projects through launch period with tight deadlines, higher level of urgency, and applies acquired skills and knowledge to support the success of the team.
