We are looking for a Powder Painter 2 to join our 100% EMPLOYEE-OWNED team.

First Shift: 5:00am-3:30pm, Monday -Thursday

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Physical- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. safely or with assistance. Capable of standing and bending over for long periods of time while performing manual labor with or without reasonable assistance. Capable of continuous arm motion while holding paint gun.
  • Working Hours- Fulltime Employment (40hrs/week)
  • Personal Traits- Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow direction and or work independently, able to multi-task and trouble shoot.
  • Punctuality and safe work habits.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Timely completion of job functions. Responsible for producing quality workmanship, which meets or exceeds requirements. Adhere to ISO-9001 quality systems. Maintain powder equipment.

  • Powder paint parts in conformance with specifications and meet daily required production assignments.
  • Operate and maintain powder paint equipment within the parameters of the company's safety standards.
  • Arrive to work in a punctual manner and be willing to work overtime when needed.
  • Understand the Quality Policy and Quality Objectives.
  • Ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by working with department supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe working environment.
  • Work safely and ensure hazardous conditions are eliminated. Follow company safety procedures.
  • Communicate accurately and effectively to other individuals in the department.
  • Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
  • Complete task independently from job-list.
  • Follow and execute ISO Quality system procedures including, instructions on job travelers and control plan per ISO procedures.
  • Maintain neat and clean work area.
  • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to differentiate between materials.
  • Possess basic math and reading skills.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Ability to powder paint 3 dimensional pieces on paint line.

Education and Experience

  • 3 years' experience in similar function
