Job Description
Associate Director, Human Resources, Gartner Inc., Fort Myers, FL. Identify and analyze business and people issues where human resources (HR) solutions can be leveraged and implemented. Minimize risk to organization by actively responding to and addressing associate concerns in a timely manner. Conduct complete investigations and make recommendations based on findings and escalate when necessary. Collaborate with legal and outside counsel as needed to address complex or highly sensitive issues. Analyze and provide guidance on the business unit’s current organizational state and future requirements. Craft and revise role profiles as needed to facilitate business planning. Partner with recruiting to ensure a conscious, deliberate approach to attracting and retaining top talent from both inside and outside the organization. Support leadership preparation for operating committee and business unit annual talent review sessions. Recommend and implement retention strategies to minimize unwanted attrition. Lead annual salary, bonus, commission, and equity planning process with business unit leadership, ensuring highest performers are compensated in line with their business impact and contributions. Provide strong leadership throughout recruitment, training, and development of HR talent to ensure the highest levels of performance and productivity.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
 
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Communication, or a related field, and six (6) years of post-bachelor’s, progressive, related work experience.
 
Must have six (6) years of experience with/in:
 
• At least three (3) of the following HR Generalist skills: employee relations, employment law, employee engagement, succession planning, compensation, performance management, workforce planning, recruitment, and/or training and development;
• Providing direction for the business in strategic HR planning and operations; and
• Delivery of HR programs and strategies to address business issues.
 
Must have experience with/in:
 
• Developing HR staff and lead teams in a matrix environment; and
• Leading a team of HR professionals and support staff that provide a broad range of HR consultation, solutions, and services to the business unit.
 
Up to 5% domestic travel required.
