Responsibilities

Provides logistic engineering to field organizations and/or customers including spare or replacement parts and supplies. Reviews field support requirements and recommends tool and test equipment. Establishes calibration requirements for field systems/equipment including all maintenance tasks. Performs maintenance and maintainability demonstrations for customers. Reviews handbooks for technical adequacy. Assists in the development of maintenance engineering and logistics support. Plans and contributes to proposal efforts. Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.

Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, production departments, and field service personnel to ensure meeting of contractual commitments. Compiles data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities. Determines logistic support sequences and time phasing, problems arising from location of operational area, and other factors, such as environmental and human factors affecting personnel. The roles and responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to the following:

    Understand policies of procurement and disposition and support the Center to work in accordance with policies.
  • Support the facilities and logistics management of multiple facilities to include space tracking, renovations, property reporting and regulations, scheduling facilities work, and disposal of property and disposition.
  • Support preparations for senior level facilities briefings.
  • Support logistics stakeholders during annual inventory calls.
  • Engage and support interfacing with the appropriate facilities and logistics stakeholders.
  • Provide support including meeting minutes, task tracking, and professional coordination of facilities and logistics priorities with Sponsor and partner organizations.
  • Support the coordination and maintenance of vault certifications and accesses.
  • Assist in collecting information for and drafting responses regarding Sponsor's facilities to action tasking.
  • Be proficient with Sponsor facilities and logistics reporting systems.
  • Coordinate office renovations, moves and other ad-hoc facilities and logistic related tasks.

Qualifications
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Knowledgeable of Sponsor's logistics processes and policies
  • Demonstrated experience working in a collaborative, fast paced environment with a willingness to assist and support teams with evolving requirements and objectives.
  • Strong analytical abilities and skills in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks, solve problems, work several tasks concurrently, and have a fluency with on-line tracking tools.
  • Proven ability to work independently while also coordinating, collaborating, and liaising with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with officers at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking ability to take action to execute mission by leveraging networks and drawing on multiple areas of expertise.
  • Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience preparing briefings and documentation for all levels of audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical information and communicate it to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative and follow through.
  • Expert level skills with Microsoft Office products.
  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.
