Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.
The associate will work in a biological research lab that utilizes molecular, biochemical and imaging techniques, and cell culture. The associate will be performing qPCR, gel electrophoresis and imaging experiments, as well as some cell culture assays. The associate will maintain antibody, primer, clone and cell culture stocks, and will be involved in maintaining and optimizing protocols. The job will require coordinating with outside labs and facilities.
