Job Description

Job Summary:

Precise is seeking a senior level or lead Appian Developer to be part of a team that supports application development and maintenance of the clients' engagements and corporate endeavors. The Appian Developer will work closely with the project team.

Support includes evaluating business requirements given by the system end users and business stakeholders, interpreting high-level requirements into design details, and planning concepts using provided information and materials. Activities will include design, development, architecture, requirements gathering, Implementation and Support on end-to-end business applications with Appian BPM platform. Must be USC or GC/EAD holder with ability to obtain a public trust clearance.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Product owners on translating business requirements and operational strategy into a long-term, executable solution plan and roadmap
  • Work with business users to translate business requirements into technical designs to map and load data from source systems or the data warehouse into the transactional database.
  • Work with IT Leadership to keep solutions in alignment with the future IT roadmap.
  • Able to contribute to hands-on development, engage in technical design discussions, and build Proof of Concept and demos as needed.
  • Develop and implement the Appian and related web-based applications.
  • Provide technical guidance to other developers as and when required.
  • Develop applications in Appian business process management and integrate with other enterprise products.
  • Experience with estimating and sizing Appian business requirements.
  • Debug and troubleshoot Appian development and production applications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
  • Appian Level 1 or 2 Certified.
  • Experience in Agile, Java, API's, Web Services, integrations.
  • Proficient with Appian BPM and complex SQL database structures.
  • Ability to take direction and work with project team.
  • Ability to own the project backlog, schedule and ensures that the project team delivers high quality work consistently and on time.
  • Experience with integrations with external systems.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Passion for design, attention to detail, and punctuality.
  • Eager to volunteer time, mentor others, and contribute.
  • Ability to scope Appian Projects.
  • Comfortable in a demanding environment and managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of Appian development experience
  • Has an eye for aesthetic and high quality UI/UX
