Financial Analyst

As a Financial Analyst at UBB, your attention to detail and passion for financial analysis and valuation will assist you in utilizing your skills to research economic and industry data, write reports for clients, and interact with senior management. Your advanced Excel spreadsheet modeling and ability to present financial data clearly and concisely will provide client institutions with valuable insights for strategic decision-making.

Position is on-site at our Bloomington office. Work-from-home opportunities may be available on a rotating basis after an initial training period.

Essential Responsibilities

• Complex spreadsheet modeling using Microsoft Excel, including the use of functions, tables and charts for financial analysis, valuation, and report presentation.
• Uses principals of finance and financial analysis applied to business valuation projects.
• Researches economic and industry data and incorporates it into tables, graphs, and charts, as well as written reports summarizing conclusions.
• Writes reports for clients and interacts with senior management at client institutions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or accounting preferred
• Associate's degree plus financial analysis work experience considered
• 1+ years related financial analysis or banking experience
• Prior business appraisal or valuation experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently
