This is a pooled posting. Applicants will be considered as positions become available. Applications may be at the "Under Review" status for an extended period of time. Auburn University's Aviation Department is seeking to fill multiple Aviation Maintenance Tech positions at various levels. This position provides general and preventative maintenance on University-owned aircraft as well as other aircraft. The Auburn Aviation team, through education, research and outreach programs, develops highly desired graduates and thought leaders who will serve as a positive force in aviation and the world. Salary Ranges: Level II: $54,100 - $92,000 Level III: $58,700 - $105,700 Level IV: $67,500 - $121,500 Mechanics must possess a basic set of hand tools or be willing to purchase if hired. |

Minimum Qualifications |
Level II: High School Diploma or equivalent and 18 months of experience in providing general and preventative maintenance to aircraft. A candidate that does not have 18 months experience, but has attended Aviation Maintenance Tech School and has been awarded either an A or P certification, meets the experience requirement. Level III: High School Diploma or equivalent and 30 months of experience in providing general and preventative maintenance to aircraft. A candidate that does not have 30 months experience, but has attended Aviation Maintenance Tech School and has been awarded both an A and P certification, meets the experience requirement. Level IV: High School Diploma or equivalent And 3 years of Experience in providing general and preventative maintenance to aircraft and performing 100 hour and annual inspections on general aviation aircraft plus Airframe Certification, Powerplant Certification, and Inspection Autorization (IA) Certification and/or Rating Application. A candidate that does not have 30 months experience, but has attended Aviation Maintenance Tech School and has been awarded both an A and P certification, meets the experience requirement. |
