This position is responsible for coordinating MAS/EAST programming, including tasks such as event planning, marketing and outreach, day-to-day administration, student record-keeping and expense reconciliation. This is a fixed term (temporary), salaried 12-month position that may require extended hours and some required travel to accomplish overall goals and objectives.Essential duties, as defined under the Americans with Disabilities Act, may include any of the following representative duties, knowledge, and skills. description does not constitute an employment agreement and is subject to change at any time by the employer. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
JOB DUTIES:
* Coordinate planning of foundational high-visibility events such as EAST faculty/staff/student/alumni receptions, program information sessions, conferences, workshops, and guest speakers
* Innovate to create new programming and build the EAST community
* Design, produce and disseminate all MAS/EAST publications and maintain presence including social media (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.).
* Maintain records of EAST students including guest lists and mailing lists
* Support faculty-led study abroad to EAST regions, including coordinating faculty/staff/student/alumni participation, creating promotional materials and organizing/facilitating promotional events, and traveling to support these programs abroad
* Support EAST faculty-led events such as visiting speakers, book signings, film screenings
* Manage communication with community partners around San Antonio and represent EAST at community events
* Support in disseminating EAST travel grants and student scholarships
* Collaborate to provide programming during ISO/NSO for EAST community families
* Maintain EAST budget and complete timely expense reconciliation
* Liaise with student associations relevant to EAST
* Support and coordinate Center for International Engagement (CIE) assessment activities
* Collaborate with Center for International Engagement staff
* Collaborate with offices for Communications, Residential Life, Chartwells, Development, Alumni Relations and others as needed
* Perform other duties as assigned

Note:Position requires occasional evening and weekend hours.
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's degree
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Participation in Trinity EAST programs
Experience living/working/volunteering in East Asia
Preferred:
Three (3) years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in an East Asian language.
An interest in program and/or project management.
Knowledge of social media, design, marketing and branding.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Required:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and the ability to learn new programs and web platforms quickly.
Professional demeanor.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Bilingual fluency in English and an East Asian Language.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and in group settings.
Must possess good problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize daily and long-term goals, and multi-task.
