Anaplan Consultant
Our client, a software development company, is looking for an Anaplan Consultant to help them navigate their recent implementation.
This opportunity is 100% remote and will have a duration of 3+ months.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Work closely with the Finance, FP&A, Accounting and Financial Systems teams to support recent Anaplan implementation
- Anaplan has been implemented but not operating correctly & need support in training team to utilize effectively
- Must have relevant FP&A experience and business modeling experience
- Responsible for building the correct reports in Anaplan
- Train 4 direct reports on the FP&A team, 3 indrect reports and work closely with the Reporting Team and Accounting Team.
- With the accounting team, they need to work through Netsuite Data flow and close. Need to ensure the Netsuite data flows correctly and syncs with Anaplan appropriately.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build new modeling solutions in Anaplan for enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
- Create and maintain integrations with Anaplan across various other platforms used by the Company (Netsuite, etc)
- Translate ad hoc spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
- Play a key role in designing the long-term Anaplan roadmap, including best practices for supporting a distributed model across various departments
- Maintain and document current and new system process flows
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience with Anaplan, preferably experience as a third-party implementation partner with significant client interaction and experience
- FP&A and Operations experience is highly preferred
- Anaplan Model Builder Certification preferred
- Experience with system design, testing, implementation, and end user support/training
- Strong analytical skills, and a deep interest in problem solving and using technology to improve business processes
- Expert modeling capabilities with the ability to troubleshoot complex planning models and design a modeling solution without explicit direction
- Understanding of finance and accounting principles and how they apply to planning and/or consolidation solutions
- A strong understanding of integration best practices

- Excellent relationship skills; can effectively and independently work with business leaders, stakeholders across the organization

- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
