Job Description
  • **Dayshift Only**
  • Performs preventive/corrective maintenance and investigates problems with mechanical equipment including gear boxes, pumps, rotary air locks, valves, conveyor systems, heat exchangers, etc., following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications, troubleshooting malfunctions.
  • Maintains function and reliability of production and facility systems and associated equipment by executing a preventive maintenance program; Inspects electrical and automation systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Remove defective parts by dismantling devices, using hoists, cranes, rigging, and hand/power tools.

Qualifications

  • Critical knowledge: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Critical experience: Minimum 3 years, 5 years preferred, electrical maintenance experience in an industrial setting or in the military.
  • Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities: Electrical and mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, capable of operating a forklift, continuous learning, applied learning, teamwork, managing work & time, safety awareness.
