Responsibilities

Front Desk Receptionist

Turning Point is currently accepting applications for a PRN Receptionist to work day time and/or night time hours as needed. (Scheduling needs will be discussed more during the interview.) Turning Point Receptionists are responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to internal and external customers while directing visitors, answering multiple phone lines, responding to routine questions, and routing calls to other personnel. This position also assists with the coordination of the patient admission process including proper intake call routing, scheduling transportation, and greeting patients upon arrival. Responsible for other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred
  • Three (3) years of experience as a receptionist or in customer service is required; experience in a healthcare environment is preferred
  • Great organizational skills and knowledge of basic office equipment/computers is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Must possess the ability to multi-task while working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • One (1) year experience in a patient care field. Experience working with substance abuse or behavioral health patients, preferred.
